Often our designers are called to work with the urban environment but to mask the urban noise and clutter. At this small Commonwealth Avenue property, a strategically-placed Japanese maple helps to screen back alley telephone wires and roadway. Carefully chosen slim-lined furniture and bright colors complete the look. One trick we utilized to conserve space was to fasten the containers to the outside of the ornamental wrought iron railings.
“We really enjoyed the landscaping when we were there. It looks even more beautiful from the inside of our condo. So far we really like the tree in the corner. It started to get buds before we left. Looks great with the lights on under it at night.”
