Jean Brooks

Jean Brooks is a landscape designer and contractor with over 25 years experience in residential design and construction. Since launching the company in 1991, she has completed numerous projects throughout New England.

Tim Merrill

Tim joined the Jean Brooks team in 2008 after attending the University of Maine where he studied Mechanical Engineering. His love of the landscape was fostered growing up on Cape Cod. Over the past decade at JBL, Tim has sculpted beautiful landscapes all over New England.

Brad Snow

Brad’s irrigation training began in 1992. He has been building and servicing the highest quality irrigation systems ever since. Along with his expertise, he always brings good humor and bright spirit to keep everyone on the team focused and motivated.

Maryellen Sullivan

Maryellen has over 25 years of experience designing gardens in Boston and surrounding communities. A graduate of the Conway School of Landscape Design and a Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional, she brings seasoned knowledge. A Cambridge native, she can be found walking in the Arnold Arboretum, the Blue Hills, or along the Neponset River.

Ben Stafford

A graduate of Suffolk University, Ben has been with JBL for 8 years. Ben brings a perfect blend of artistic insight and construction proficiency to each of our projects. His attention to detail and standard of excellence is an inspiration to us all.

Marissa Anne Wilson

Marissa brings a wealth of horticultural and design experience to the team. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where she developed a passion for sustainable design and Green Architecture. Her innate understanding of how Mother Nature interacts with our designs provides an invaluable perspective!

Bryan Garcia

Bryan's vast experience has given him a thorough understanding of every facet of the landscape Design-Build process. He brings this depth of knowledge to one of the most important parts: Long-term Maintenance. He is immersed in the world of horticultural and brings that expertise - in implementation & functionality - to every job via his impeccable eye for detail!

Losson Parkinson

Born and raised on a beautiful farm in Jamaica, Losson has been developing his green thumb for the majority of his life. Working with Jean for 10+ years, his perspective on our most challenging and successful projects is invaluable. Our go-to person for urban implementation challenges, invasive/harmful species solutions and diseased plant revitalization.

Simone Nemes

Simone is a problem solver with a specialty for urban landscape design and working in challenging spaces. As a Accredited Organic Landcare Professional she plays an integral role as our Lead Horticulturalist. Her natural inclination for the process of research in the field and earned understanding of the importance that plant-insect interactions and the need to preserve native plantings, and natural aesthetics of green spaces.

Kyle Petersen

Kyle brings a wide range of landscaping experience to the team. Paired with his outgoing and pleasant demeanor, this makes him an incredible team leader. From the first day on site to the last day of installation, Kyle knows what it's going to take to ensure everyone's expectations are managed, met and then exceeded.

Cody Doucette

Having worked in every division of the company throughout his life, Cody's unique perspective helps him ensure the company innovates as quickly as it grows. He oversees the implementation of new technology, processes, vendor relations, and recruitment. His role helps us be more connected to our clients and community and on the cutting-edge of innovation.
